I got my bba from here. I was very new this usa, yet I was able to complete my bachelor's. Thanks to the helpful teachers and friends that I made over there. Some of them are still in touch even after so many years. I learnt so many things.

Nice small college . Very nice facilities for athletics. Very nice facilities for education staff seems to like their jobs and willing to help others. If you ask questions, answers will come clean. Outdoor facilities grounds are kept well. Nice stadium. Clean sidewalks. Not very crowded.

Haven't even started school yet but I'm going to have to caution any incoming student that if you have to speak to finical aid or housing or admissions or an advisor (all of which are required in some capacity) you are going to want to drop out before you even get to the beginning of the semester. My admissions counselor quit and I wasn't able to find that out until 2 weeks later so I was emailing a dead email for weeks. I couldn't find a single person in advisement to help me after. Literally weeks in between responses. Since no one was answering I physically went up to the school and turned away for one reason or another. Campus closed (where or how was I supposed to find that out), appointments (booked months out or completely unavailable), walk-in weeks (full or sending me on goose chases to other departments when I find out I came to the right place the first time. Asking a question around here will give you migraines. I can't get anyone at financial aid to update me beyond "we can't access FAFSA" meanwhile FAFSA is literally begging me and to verify my status through UCO but UCO can't or won't tell me what I need to do after an entire month of correspondence. This is overwhelmingly embarrassing for the school. It's not even just me. My friend is dealing with the same problems as we enrolled about the same time. Questions asked and nothings ever answered. But roll Cho's or whatever

I graduated from UCO in 2014. The professors are completely toxic and abusive towards their students, especially the Design faculty. Don't waste your time or money with this university.

I love when I pay for a parking permit and then have to pay $120 in citations just so the car I got less than a month ago won’t get towed off campus. It’s funny, how the parking office comments “please purchase a current parking permit” but then emails me the citation and adds it to my parking account.. the same account that shows my current, valid parking pass. Is it too much effort to look up my account and see I have a valid parking pass? I was never even issued a warning just continuously ticketed. If only this university put as much effort into its students and higher education as it did trying to squeeze money out of them. It’s truly disheartening to see universities that are meant to prepare people for the future, take everything from them and force them into debt. Tuition and fees for facilities I don’t use aren’t enough?

If you are considering filling out an application for this university you might want to be completely sure that you will be attending here. Back in 2017 I started filling out what was advertised as a FREE application that I did not finish due to references and I had already been accepted somewhere else but it was submitted automatically. When I filed taxes this year in 2024 I recieved a letter stating that $50 of my state refund had been intercepted due to an application fee. Why this was not brought up to me before 7 years is baffling. They stated that it has been collections but I have never received notification of this and it has not appeared on my credit report or anything. Now when I question why this is happening 7 YEARS LATER no one has an answer for me, and I just keep getting passed around. I personally don't feel that I should have to pay for this now considering it's been 7 years and this has not been addressed until now. Not to mention $50 is nothing compared to the price of tuition. The $50 is not the problem, the problem is that it's been 7 years since this and I hadn't changed addresses or anything; so why I was not notified is the part that upsets me.
