As others have said, the facility is a bit dated in places but besides that this is a great location for conferences and trainings. The place is like a maze on the inside, but it doesn't take too long to learn. The dining area is very spacious and the food was actually quite good throughout our week stay. I especially liked the solid selection of cookies and cakes! The rooms are pretty tiny but they get the job done. I can tell that my room was recently renovated with newer furniture and fixtures which was appreciated. The gym was a decent size, but there weren't enough weights and the machines were pretty worn down. The grounds themselves are nice and well landscaped. I definitely recommend walking around and exploring a bit. Service was excellent all around, from check in to the cafeteria staff, all the employees are great. Overall I enjoyed my week here, though an update to the gym and additional renovations to the rooms would make it even better.

Honestly if the rooms were updated, this place would be alright. I was worried about bugs from all the other posts… but I only saw one. The rooms are a little claustrophobic, but do have a desk if you need to get some work done.

The common areas were pretty cool. Lots of little rec rooms all over and the grounds are gorgeous and good for walking off your dinner.

The food was decent. I wasn’t blown away by it, but it was edible. I never wanted for food. The offered three main meals and two snacks throughout the day during our training.

Overall, I wouldn’t mind coming back here if the rooms were brought into the current decade. But the bed was comfortable and when I left something behind after check out, the staff was on top of assuring I got it back.

North building feels a little dated, the rooms aren't anything special, and it's easy to get lost in the maze of hallways and tunnels, but the staff is friendly and professional and the buffet is decent.

Went here for a training conference. Facility seems dated, and you can see the age when you walk through the connection tunnels...
However, the food services and the staff overall make this place great. Best 'buffet style' meals and the salad bar was always good.

Versatile and ample space to host a large conference with multiple function room set-up, and excellent food & beverage and catering staff and service. I am very pleased with how our banquets were managed and executed by the F&B and Catering teams. The Front Office staff were professional and responsive. A dedicated and professional Conference Manager is also very much appreciated. Black Olive was a fun place to gather in the evenings. The guest rooms do need a lot of TLC, maintenance, and upgrade. Overall a good venue for a large conference, post-pandemic.

Nice conference facility. Self contained campus with dining and conference rooms, lot of greenery around. Away from the busy city life and ideal for a learning event. Dining area is nice and spacious, with well balanced options for dining. Staff is nice and courteous. Not too far from Dulles Airport IAD with a short drive. Rooms are small but one person can manage.

Here for training. The layout is like a maze with the tunnels, but once you learn it, it's a breeze. Food as well as the staff is AMAZING!! Be prepared to gain at least 10 pounds if here for a week. I forgot my phone charger at home and the Front Desk Mgr came to my rescue! He charged my phone with his personal charger. It was critical that I have my phone for business purposes. What a life saver he was. Sorry I failed to get his name. My room was comfortable for the time I was in it, and much appreciated after a long business day. Kudos to the staff Attentive, Courteous, and Efficient ?

I enjoyed my experience here. Staff were helpful and kind. It was very special that the food represented a different country or culture each day. They always kept the spaces tidy. The classrooms fostered positive learning, with flexible moving walls and room for varied desk arrangements. I liked that they had little places to sit and study, read, etc. It was nice to easily access outside pathways for fresh air. Very spacious building. Last but not least, I appreciated the hallway with school art. Thank you!
