This is a fairly new organization and they have a LONG way to go. The staff while friendly need training and a realistic view of the OC area they serve. Speaking as a former client in the beginning they threw out the red carpet and said they'd be able to assist with anything to help me get to where I needed to be. As the months progressed, they became less transparent and it became obvious that they weren't really as "there" for me as they claimed. The rental manager in charge of locating apts sent me "leads" of ghetto hole in the wall type of places I would never live in. I found beautiful homes and many did not work out for one reason or another but I finally found a "sure deal" that the owner only wanted a deposit from them to hold it for me and they suddenly did a 360 and said they could not do that, would not do this or that and seemed apprehensive about helping me at all and when I inquired about boxes to pack up my storage it was "oh we really can't do that." Needless to say I was not able to get the house, my very last opportunity to get one as the owner immediately moved on once they said they wanted to wait. I guess Project Hope Alliance thinks that homes just are readily available to pull from the sky and they are not. They completely screwed me over seemingly to sabotage me and they knew it because once the deal fell through I never heard from them again and not so much as an apology either it was pretty sickening. So in the 8 or 9 months I dealt with them they did absolutely nothing for me but make empty promises. They sent me a pitiful email stating they were closing my case and thanking me which I thought was equally sadistic. But I figured it out. They keep clients on long enough for the numbers and to obtain funding and once they no longer need you they kick you to the curb. They wanted me to accept housing in ghetto undesireable areas of which I refused because apparently they have never successfully put any family in a nice area. Also catch this they will spy on their clients and ask for very personal information for what I don't know. I do know that this is a very shady, scandalous and fraudulent organization. I really hope they are sued or investigated. Do not support this organization or donate to them especially after what they did to me and my case with them was not unique this is common practice among these sharks!!

This organization is pitiful and scandalous. They pretend they are "warriors" for the homeless and poor but at the end of the day it's a game to them. They aren't really in the position to help families other than to throw them scraps. I just couldn't believe they said they would do one thing and then they put on the stink eye and refused to commit to anything other than what THEY wanted to do and what they wanted to do wasn't working. I lost a lot due to them and they lied to me and then said oh we are terminating our contract when they fu$#%&* up. A disgrace to the people who need the help the most!!

These folks do great work reaching into the shadows to keep kids up with their classes and ultimately create a more secure environment for them by moving them into permanent housing.
