Attended this pharmacy for a Covid and Flu vaccination at 32 weeks pregnant. Although the service ran late, the staff were very polite and friendly. I have just moved into the area so it was a lovely first experience at the local pharmacy.

I am not one to write bad reviews but I am appalled by the service my husband received at this pharmacy. An urgent prescription was sent to this location and when he asked how long it would take, the pharmacist responded with “well the longer I’m on the phone with you the longer it’ll take for you to get it.” So unnecessarily rude and not how you should speak to someone regardless but especially someone who is in a vulnerable state.

Constantly rotate staff, which means that half the staff have no idea what they are doing, very slow to prescribe medication now, the shelves are sparse and empty, looks more like a closing buisness than a busy working pharmacy. Very rare that they actually have all the prescription in, I would avoid and use an alternative pharmacy for prescriptions or use a service that delivers it direct to your home

Edit: I was told to re-review after the refurb, however I have had no contact since so I have removed the statement about this review been subject to refurbishment

Pre-Covid this was the best pharmacy in York, now vying for the worst.
The young tall lad is useless, either needs retraining or replacing. Zero customer service skills.
It's now a rarity to get a prescription completed in full or without errors.
I get better service from McDonald's.
Every month it's a sad and painful experience

Pharmacist genuinely caring yesterday.Great customer care.Explained that i didnt need eye drops.
