It is a small bungalow facing the sea at Marine Drive - a beautiful location in Mumbai. It is a serene space, ideal for people to come and practice their yogic kriyas and pranayama on a daily basis. A trained teacher is present for every session to consult with and who can spot any mistakes you might be making. Swami Kuvalayananda founded the Kaivalyadhama institution in Pune in 1924 mainly to research the effects of yoga and provide scientific training on how yoga can be used for this health and healing. This Mumbai centre was established in 1936 and now has over 4500 members coming to the centre yearly for health reasons and often also to cure some particular illnesses. In order to become a member, one has to first consult a medical doctor trained in yogic therapy. This doctor would prescribe an appropriate programme for you which includes kriya, pranayama, asanas and meditation. This programme is then taught by our trained teachers on an individual basis and over a period of time depending on how well you can grasp the practices. There are periodic examinations by the yogic doctor to modify and better the programme so that it has the most effect. Separate facilities are provided for Men and Women. There are daily (except Sundays and public holidays) yoga sessions with the yoga teacher at the following times:
- Men: 6.30 am to 10.00 am & 5.00 pm to 8.00 pm
- Women: 7.00 am to 10.00 am & 4.00 pm to 7.00 pm

Disorganised given everything is manually done by hand for bookings. The naturopath does not seem confident either. The location is good near charni road station. Massages etc are expensive, not in line with the original ethos of the founder.

Over all expense was good except that they donot provide Towels and Nepkins in the washroom . A guest who has come here for 8days need towels and soaps but you have arrange your own . Also bed sheets are changed only once in 8 days stay . Attended 10th Sep to 17th sept 23 along with my wife . A participant spends Rs .30000/- expects Towels in the washroom . Even in ordinary hotels towels are provided for every nights stay .
Other than above every thing is perfectly designed for yoga and naturopathy .
Yoga mentor Mrs. Dixit is perfect for the beginners

Not a single star. I Contacted their Lonavala Facility. People nowdays have become so much business and money minded. They can not even talk or give proper information on phone. I will never visit any of their centre . This kind of attitude shows what kind of mindset they have..
