It should definitely be a crime the way the people that work here treat people they absolutely don’t do their job, but let you owe them something. They respond and answer the phone quicker then you can blink. They always behind let them tell it don’t respond to emails. My father has been on the waiting list for two years, get selected to be told it can take between 5 to 6 months to even get the voucher. (What was the 2 year wait for?) they Open up the section 8, waiting list when it’s still people that ain’t even got a voucher yet that’s already on the list

If I could give 0 Stars I would. Gail Winfield is very disrespectful and unprofessional. She does not listen when she asks questions, she talks down to you, and she changes her story constantly and will string you along. I am not a resident here nor have even got a voucher yet and I’m already disappointed, frustrated, and on the verge of being in psych ward due to the stress. There’s no consideration, or consistency which is unfortunate because this truly would be an opportunity and a blessing for my family but I cannot deal with being disrespected and treated like a charity case.

I was grateful to be on the list & accepted but when I added 2 more people to my household things started to get complicated. I was constantly told the calculations are right but they kept going off of a 2 person household instead of a 5. I talked to the manager & she talked to me like I wasn't anybody & i didn't know anything. Then when I asked if I'd be kicked off the program I was told everything was fine. Next thing I know, during a phone call I make to my caseworker, she says something along the lines of you can submit more paperwork if you want but you'll be off the program soon. I only had one month to figure out what to do. Now im off of it. It was semi difficult to get in contact with them. ?

This organization is pathetic in all its ways and is slowly but surely deteriorating in its processes of housing the homeless. The coordinators are more offended with than they are concerned with housing them and it's sickening. More and more homeless people are on the streets daily and Dupage Housing Authority staff and Administration are blind and TONEDEAF to the truth of this matter. This organization needs to be investigated by the FBI and held accountable for their negligence and hasty government work. They deserves no stars to express the least but they they also deserve to be called out and held to account. May God Almighty hear me and advance my request for KARMIC JUSTICE if that's what it takes. Shame on these people for knowing better but refusing to do their due diligent job at the end of the day

My experience was great. (To God Be The Glory). This was definitely an on time God sent opportunity for my son and I. My specialist Gail was prompt with responding to me. She always responded to my emails although I felt bad with constantly blowing up her email when I had so many questions. However that never stopped her from helping me. Shaquille also made sure to respond to me and was prompt also with responding. (I also had to realize with me being impatient at times that I am not the only person they are servicing). The process did not take long at all. Again I want to say thank you again.

I Just wanted give this place their flowers cus from what I've seen.... I wish all HA's were like this place.

Even though they are extremely busy. Which is what pepple need to remember because they can only talk so fast move paper work so fast and etc.

They have thousands people to work with. A million phone calls to answer and get back to and a million emails to respond to and send back and they service
alot of towns.

So we have to be patient with them. They are only human too.
But even still They took the time to help me and answered my questions without A attitude. I couldn't believe it. I mean everyone has their bad days. But still if they were having a bad day i couldnt tell because they handled me with care and patience and Thats all I need.

Communication, patience, great team of people who actually love helping people and know how to leave that mess at the door when they come to work.

This office set things up to where I feel that you can come in get what you need without bothering them and help yourself so you can help them by doing some of the leg work yourself.

You know how many times I've had to wait weeks just to get a simple answer or a list to see who might be open to renting or I've had to wait outside hoping to catch someone for answers and they just turn the lights off and ignore you at the door. Or never return calls or answer calls. Or how i never got a answer to a email but had to wait for one question to be answered by mail? Alot!
Millions!

I didnt get thay from this place.
To me this place organized and they seem to work with the landlords and actually act like they care about helping people tobetter their lives and make progress here.

I just wanted to say Thank you so much to pearl who helped me and everyone else that might've help me when I call or come in and need the help.

Thank you so much!

This is so sad that they seem to rather see people homeless then to simply do their job, when I was in the process of porting their which I reframed from and asked for my paperwork back and that also took time. But anyway Gail was the person who was suppose to deal with everything but she was on vacation. But they had nothing in place during her absence. Even when she returned she still ignored my call, voicemails, and emails. I don't understand how they are still running.
