Unfortunately they didn't offer the products I was liking for but they were SUPER helpful in helping me find out. When you first walk in, you might be overwhelmed by the high stacks of products tags. I immediately asked a worker stocking shelves if she had some products and she immediately stopped and supported. Amazing service! Just wish they had the products I was looking for.

I recently visited Chemist Warehouse in South Melbourne to exchange a fragrance, and the experience was extremely disappointing. The Australian guy handling my return was incredibly rude and unprofessional. While I understand and respect the exchange policy, the way he and the rest of the staff reacted was completely unacceptable. The entire team seemed disinterested, lacked basic customer service skills, and didn’t even bother to greet customers with a smile. It felt like they were doing me a favor by simply being there, rather than providing any real service. The staff’s attitude and behavior made the whole process unnecessarily stressful and frustrating. If you're looking for a positive shopping experience, I’d recommend avoiding this store. Dealing with the staff here is a waste of time, and it’s clear they need serious training in customer service.

One of the smaller branches, though usually pretty well stocked regardless. Like any chemist warehouse, you should be able to find what you need, at most likely the cheapest price you'll find around. Has the usual products you expect to find at the chemist like Panadol and vitamins, but also other household general products like soap, shampoo, dishwashing liquid though the latter not always the cheapest compared to supermarkets. This store for some reason still has over the counter products like flu medicine and lozenges behind the prescription counter, so you'll have to queue for it and ask for it. This branch is open longer hours compared to the southbank branch. Main street allows 1 hr free parking 8am to 6pm mon-sat , otherwise not monitored, as of July 2023. Pics with the ample parking spaces taken just after 9am on Sunday, can be pretty booked out business hours.

I don’t appreciate being accused of using more of my prescribed medicine than is required. Don’t jump to conclusions. And it’s possible that I self medicated and increased my daily dose as communicated with my GP. Furthermore, I am a local and have been coming to this branch for years. In response to your ‘I’ll give it to you this time’ well they’re won’t be a next time as I will go elsewhere!

Visited South Melbourne Chemist warehouse recently and had a terrible experience with a staff member named Bokyeong (Employee #99165, TILL.02). When we tried to pay using Alipay or WeChat, Bokyeong rudely refused, saying, "This is Melbourne, Australia, not China." Her behavior was not only unprofessional but also racist. We eventually managed to use the payment method after arguing and involving another staff member, but the whole experience was very unpleasant. This kind of discriminatory behavior is unacceptable. The chemist warehouse needs to address this issue and ensure all customers are treated with respect.

For me, the customer service was great. He searched for what I wanted using a computer very kindly and efficiently. This store is the best option if you are looking for a variety of products at a discounted price.

The baby section is shocking and everything is scattered out of place due to renovation (which has been happening for quite a while now). I had to go back and forward to find things that shows online as available but Staff couldn’t find it in store. Waste of my time going there and same to my partner.

I came in to the store yesterday expecting to buy ventolin over the counter, I had just returned from the doctors and was instructed to go to the chemist. When I asked the lady she ripped off the corner of a piece of paper and asked me write down my details. After I had given her all my personal information she then proceeded to tell me she thinks I should get something else. This advice was horrible and an assumption on why I needed the Ventolin in the first place. I’m aware Pharmacist are trained but I think it’s extremely unprofessional to over write the instructions that my personal doctor had given. Not only was I asking for something simple that she could’ve just given me, she was extremely rude when I didn’t take her advice. When I need Ventolin next time I will be going to a different location.
