This is very unfortunate that I have to write a negative google review. My experience has been terrible with the office. I have always maintained a standard for my health as they say many of us African American men do not stay on top of our medical info and visits. This office is managed terribly. You can rarely ever get someone on the phone. Voicemail after voicemail goes unanswered. Patient portal requests go unanswered. I sought this practice out, seeking an African American doctor to become my Primary. Dr. Warren is polite, has good bedside manner, and seems to be knowledgeable . However, he should be flat out embarrassed by his office's practices. To not be able or interested in hiring a younger person to at least answer patient phone calls or a college intern to assist with patient portal matters is ridiculous. I have expressed my concerns to the "office manager", to the front desk receptionists, as well as to Dr. Warren. Each time, I got the same result; nothing but excuses and apologies, but no actual changes. This is embarrassing to have to write as a Black Man. We say support each other, but in all my years going to various non-black doctors, I have never had such a difficult time obtaining services that my A1 health insurance company would gladly pay for. THIS is a bad look because this office does not represent all black doctors or all black people. But this office if failing miserably and it is a shame. I am rooting for Dr. Warren. Nice guy. But his office is operating extremely below the bar and can make simple modifications to gain more patients. Sincerely, and embarrassed and disgusted patient!

I was a patient of Dr. Karim who has since left this practice (she is a wonderful doctor) for over a decade. Dr. Warren was fine (just saw him once) and the nurse that checked me in was great. There is one woman there named Jennifer (head nurse or office manager)who is always rude for no apparent reason. I used to let it go b/c I loved Dr. Karim so much. My last experience here was my last straw with her. I saw the nurse practioner and had a bad experience too. She was cold, explained nothing to me, read from a script on her laptop (that she barely looked up from) and made me feel like I was wasting her time. Left my last visit extremely upset. I won't be back.

Be aware of this practice. The doctor would put in wrong code to get more insurance money. I went in for an annual physical. The doctor asked routine questions about my health. I brought up that I felt a bit fatigue thinking this is part of the routine annual physical checkup. Lord, was I wrong. It turns out the doctor entered this visit as a sick visit so months later I received a bill of 92 dollars for it. My insurance company would have covered the whole cost for an annual physical. But because they entered in as a "new patient sick visit" just because I brought up being fatigue during the check-up, I'm now on the hook for this amount.

My doctor at Philadelphia adult medicine is very professional and helpful even a nurse practitioner is good I've been going there about 7:00 or 8 years I will not change my doctor for nothing my doctor does his job and so does everyone that's on his staff
