0 stars. The staff was polite enough in the start, but I cannot stress how WILDLY incompetent each individual is -which is not what I want to be dealing with particularly when it comes to my health & my prescriptions. Most recently, I needed to get a current prescription refill, so I called in the refill over the automated system, I left a clear specific voice message, and then even confirmed the specific order over the phone with a woman, named “Cheyenne”(sp?), working in the pharmacy. A few hours later I received a text notifying me that my prescription was ready for pick-up. So I headed to Publix where upon my arrival, I waited in line only to be told by the first employee that my refill was not ready yet and it would be a 25 minute wait. So I did some grocery shopping for about 30 minutes & checked out, when I circled back the second employee brought my prescription up and was shocked by the price asking, me if I knew how much was refill was going to cost, which of course I did because it was always $0, she informed me that because they refilled the prescription incorrectly it was going to cost me $80 without reason. If that was the usual cost I would have no issue, however I am NOT going to pay for Publix Pharmacy’s employees’ incompetence. It took all 3 women working behind the pharmacy counter, the oldest rudest one wearing glasses, called Jacqueline I believe, seemed to be in charge -finally the 3 of them came to the conclusion they made an error in quantity & simply needed to change the quantity in order for it to be my normal $0 charge. I was annoyed, but relieved that at least there was a simple solution, however they said that it would be another 1 hour long wait before they would have their error fixed and ready for me to pick-up. So I waited, finally received another text, at this point it so later in the afternoon, I run through the parking lot in the rain back towards the pharmacy counter for the third time today and the line has multiplied & is barely moving. Almost utterly laughable if it wasn’t so damn frustrating. Listening to the people in line in front of me, I am definitely not their only very unhappy customer. Frankly, shopping was NOT a pleasure with this pharmacy -it was a nightmare. This is the final straw personally and the time I will be using their services at all. Absolutely ridiculous. Please save yourself the wasted time & unnecessary headache of dealing with the moronic pharmacy staff.
**Update: the following morning I received a call from this Publix Pharmacy, from “Cheyenne”, just for her to ask me if I did indeed pick up my refill. In her continued confusion telling me that there is an identical refilled prescription waiting for me in a pick-up bin. What a cluster.
*Sidenote: Apparently, when a customer changes their last name it is inconceivably Earth-shattering for this entire disastrous disorganized department.
