This pharmacy is price gouging in my experience and opinon.
At first this pharmacy told me that the insurance would not cover the prescribed medication; after the insurance, BCBS, would cover this medicine and found that the pharmacy was charging me double the cost of the med, then Health Park Pharmacy told BCBS that they would not sell me the medication which is needed for a vital test.

I take a very expensive medication that is not covered by my insurance and also is in short supply. I happened to read on Reddit that this pharmacy can order it for me. I could hardly believe it. They ordered it, it was about 15% less than any other pharmacy, and they delivered it to my house. They were also very professional and courteous in all our interactions. They have my admiration and gratitude.

I was getting my prescriptions filled at another pharmacy until it got to a point when I would call in my prescriptions for refills I would get a text a few days later saying they were ready for pick up. But then when I would go to pick them up, then having to wait in line for the longest time, they would only have two of the three that I needed. Then I would have to come back a few days later for the other. Then when I would try calling they were not answering the phone, this went on for several months. So I decided to look for another pharmacy, because I needed to take all of my medications at the same time. I started looking for other pharmacies, came across Health Park Pharmacy, read some of the reviews, call them and explained my situation. They said they would take care of it and would have my prescriptions ready to start the next cycle. Let me tell you, it was one of the best decisions I’ve made. I haven’t had any problems from the day I made the first call. I’m on auto refills, and they deliver my medications to my house. I highly recommend Health Park Pharmacy.

This is by far the best pharmacy I have ever visited. If you live in Raleigh and are not using this pharmacy, you are making a huge mistake (even if you have to drive a few minutes out of your way). I definitely have pharmacies closer to my home but am more than willing to go out of my way because of the care I receive. Everyone is incredibly helpful and not judgmental like so many of the chain pharmacies. I feel like this pharmacy sees the relationship between pharmacy, patient and doctor as a partnership and not a dictatorship. I know Steve Adkins (the owner) genuinely cares about the patients using his pharmacy and is currently going out of his way to help those struggling with opioid addiction (look him up). He is a Principal Investigator for The National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA). How many other pharmacy owners can say the same? Healthpark also recognize "life happens" and you may need to pick up a medication early because of upcoming travel, etc. The staff does their best to make sure medications are ready for pickup upon arrival. They also make sure that you are getting the cheapest price available whether you are a cash paying customer (no insurance), using your insurance plan(s), have a discount card or combination of all three scenarios. I have never disliked any of the staff but want to give an extra special thank you to Jennifer, Steve and Allison for always working with me and answering every question I have without coming across annoyed or too busy to help me!! Keep up the great work and thank goodness I found you and no longer have to deal with the "big box pharmacy" chaos and incompetency.

Brought my two young kids to Health Park Pharmacy's vaccination clinic and they were amazing. They were fast and efficient, but more importantly, they were so supportive and caring. My kids were so anxious that they went into a full blown cry upon entering the suite. Both the receptionist and nurse were so understanding and did everything they could to help. My kids cried a lot, and loudly. But they never made me feel like we were a nuisance, they simply offered lollipops (which my kids took too many of...) and told me I was doing a great job with my hands full. That meant a lot to me. Thank you!!

My husband and I received our 2 Covid vaccinations from Health Park Pharmacy. It was amazing experience. There was so much care and consideration from everyone - from the staff to the volunteers - that we felt so secure and well taken care of.
Kudos to Health Park for putting together such an efficient and well-organized staff who had the time to take care of us as individuals in spite of the fact that there were many of us needing their help.

Has always had amazing customer service. One of the few few pharmacies that will work with you and everybody I have ever came in contact there with is so nice. Steve is especially nice and goes out of his way to help. I drive longer to go to them but that's how much they are worth it. You have a life long customer w Mrs. Price. Thank you so much health park pharmacy!!! You guys rock!! Also love the text communications for any unforseen issues and the curbside pickup for covid! Y'all really have it figured out!!!
