The experience my 80-year-old mother had with Khadijah Jordan, the occupancy "specialist," was absolutely terrible. My mother left messages every day for over a week, hoping to get a call back for assistance. When she finally did call back, her tone was filled with frustration, annoyance, and attitude as if my mother was at fault for not understanding what was being asked of her.

I decided to step in and sent what I believed were the required documents. After multiple attempts to get a confirmation, I finally spoke with her. Even though I hadn't yet submitted all the documentation, she told me she needed time to review what I had sent and instructed us *not* to call her again—she would contact us when ready.

Fast forward four weeks later, I received an email stating that my mother's section had been canceled due to non-compliance with the documentation requirements. Thankfully, I had already planned to move my mother in with me, so this decision didn’t affect us directly. However, I truly feel for elderly individuals who don’t have family members to advocate for them.

This person should not be in customer service. Have you ever spoken to someone who makes you feel like you're inconveniencing them just by asking them to do their job? That’s exactly how this entire process felt. While this outcome doesn’t impact us much since my mother is now living with me, it breaks my heart to think of all the other elderly people whose lives depend on these services.

They never answer their calls and never allow anyone inside so it’s IMPOSSIBLE to get in contact with them . I’ve been trying to move for MONTHS and it’s always a problem getting them to meet in the middle . They changed my case worker and never notified me and now I’m on the verge of being evicted from my place because of this issue. My case worker NEVER wants to answer her phone and it’s frustrating . How am i supposed to move without someone handling my case ? Who do I make a complaint to . This is ridiculous!!!

I have been with them for 2 years, However this last year I have encountered Case workers by the name of Ms. Eluette and Ms. Jacobs. When I tell you they are PHENOMENAL. They are the true meaning of having one's best interest at heart. I had a situation and they was with me EVERY STEP OF THE WAY! They went above and beyond treated me as a family member and helped me as best they can in their power. They Never left me alone during this process and for this they need 10 STARS and a Raise. they need more workers such as these two.

One star is just being generous. First off the case worker barely follow thru no communication at all so you have to keep blowing up the phone constantly sending emails. The building is not open for public to come in set appointment or actually get the assistant you need. You are your own case worker. I been assigned 3 different case worker and was never notified so idk where my emails went but it cost me my voucher for the lack of communication that caused paperwork not to be turn in timely matter.

Extremely PATHETIC/UNPROFESSIONAL! DNT ANSWER PHONES, NOR RETURN CALLS/EMAILS! WHEN THEY DO ANSWER (EVERY BLUE MOON), THEY HAVE TERRIBLE ATTITUDES & ACT AS IF YOU ARE BOTHERING THEM, WHEN WE ARE CALLING FOR ISSUES PERTAINING TO OUR CASE/VOUCHER! (LACK OF COMMUNICATION) ON THEIR END AS WELL AS MISPLACING TENANT'S PAPERWORK, & CLAIMING (THEY DIDNT RECEIVE PAPERWORK) CAUSES TENANTS TO LOOSE THEIR VOUCHERS! ONE SPECIFIC CASEWRKR SENDS OUT "NOTICE OF TERMINATION" LETTERS W/O CHECKING/MAKING SURE TENANT'S ALREADY HAVE THEIR DOCUMENTS ON FILE... VERY IRRESPONSIBLE! THEY NEED TO REPLACE THE WHOLE STAFF! & REPLACE THEM W/ INDIVIDUAL'S THAT ACTUALLY CARE TO HELP & ARE ACTUALLY FOR US/THE PPL, & NOT AGAINST THE PPL! Zero Stars!

S/N: These irresponsible (caseworkers) SHLD NOT be allowed to give out termination notices! It shld be a process, which shld go directly too the (DIRECTOR OF THE HOUSING AUTHORITY), & THE DIRECTOR set up an Appt/Meeting w/ the tenant to see what THE REAL ISSUE OF THE MATTER IS, & determine from there, whether the tenant deserves a termination of the program... & Being that (some) of these caseworker's are just Vengeful, Spiteful & Nasty, (their actual personality) they feel as if they have power over the tenants, They prefer to issue out termination letters just too see the next individual's downfall, instead of helping the tenants, Just Disgusting...

TENANTS: START RECORDING EVERY CONVERSATION U HAVE W/ THESE CASEWRKRS! B/C THEY WILL LIE, & TRY TO USE REVERSE PSYCHOLOGY W/ YOURSELF/MANAGERS, TO MAKE IT SEEM AS IF THE TENANT IS IRRESPONSIBLE/THE PROBLEM!

Today is 3/1/2024. I called to get information about services that the Housing Authority provided. RUDE AND NASTY Service! As soon as I said hello. I'm calling for information.. I was cut off and told. "I DON'T OFFER ANYTHING AT ALL! He seemed as if I was bothering him and didn't want to take my phone call. He should be fired, if he is unable to provide information on this organization. Every question I asked, he just kept repeating. We don't offer anything! JUST NASTY AND RUDE. A just trash service
