We were visiting some friends in Colorado (we're from MN) and they said we just had to go to Phat Thai. It's one of their favorite restaurants, and now it's one of ours! The food and service was stellar. Our favorites were the Mama Phat, Fried Chicken Thai Style, and the Coconut Rice! 100% recommend!

If you know how Thai food should tastes and want Thai food in Carbondale, this restaurant is not for you.
If you enjoy a friendly helpful staff and an upscale atmosphere, then you’ll love this place.

For the food, to me, It is an interpretation of Asian ingredients and flavors. Some of the common Thai dishes were missing and lacking a lot of key ingredients.

The Phat Thai (Pad Thai), this iteration uses too much paprikas and missing key ingredients.

Our party shared two papaya salads and we had 8 different entrees. We all tasted everyone’s food,
I personally think the food were good, but it is not authentic.

I love getting the red duck curry when I dine at Phat Thai. The flavors are great with tender duck. You can’t go wrong with any of their dishes here!

I’m new to the area and this place has always been reliable and consistent with the phat thai for take out. The portions are huge so plenty for leftovers! The staff are super friendly. Went by today and the waitress ran outside to give me utensils ?

I love the curry pumpkin soup!!!
They had GF fried chicken which typically is off my list of items I can eat because it typically has gluten - it was really good, spicer than I thought but delicious. The slaw and coconut rice balanced out the spiciness.
The waitress was really nice and helpful with menu as well!

Been here many times the last few years and its just so so delicious. a lot of really unique takes on thai dishes. i am sure they have a term for it but lets call it Colorado thai. the pumpkin soup, the satay, the papaya salad, the curries with duck or lamb or salmon, chicken basil, i have yet to have a bad dish. maybe the fried rice is a little dull, but thats not what you're there for. so many great choices, we frequently end up eating in AND taking some out for the next day. a little loud and not a fan of the community table they installed, but neither thing really tips the scales. this place rocks.

Went here after a long day of snowboarding and driving all the way from Denver before checking in to our hotel.
We were so excited to find a Thai Restaurant in the area we were staying in, but I guess this place has a lot of rooms for improvements.

It was very generous of them to have crispy chips as a complimentary, and it comes with 2 different sauces too.
We ordered bunch of different stuff, we love Thai food !

We ordered laksa, penang curry, Fried chicken, the lamb curry, Thai tea and birch beer.
The lamb curry lacks of flavor and I think it's too watery for a curry..
I love my laksa, it's our fave on the table.
Penang curry is ok. They can improve the flavor with more spices and flavor I think..

It's a great location and easy parking too!
