John was incredible. Given how technical so much of the information was, the time flew by. He did an amazing job of combining the required knowledge with real world practicality that helped keep things interesting. Also did a great job of asking what our purpose for training was, and relating that to the different portions of the class.

I’ll be back to take more classes soon! Highly recommend!

I first met John when I wanted to check out a few builds I had just finished. What stood out was his unique approach to service, which later led me to sign up my boys and myself for his Patrol Rifle course. This course, unlike any other, not only put our builds to the test but also exceeded our expectations by covering all the essentials and more. I wholeheartedly endorse John for his exceptional services and training, and we'll likely choose him as our new FFL. Our commitment to privacy led us to opt for a more intimate setting like Saddle Ridge for our class instead of a generic, impersonal classroom environment. John gave us clear directions to his place once we set up an appointment. I'm scratching my head at those two negative reviews here; they don't align with my experience. From what I've seen, I'd say ignore those and give John a shot.

Highly recommend the conceal carry class! John Shepherd did a great job teaching the basics of gun use and safety. Came out of the class feeling much more confident in my gun knowledge!

I just want to say if you ever need gun safety training, saddle ridge armory is the place to go. The instructor John shepherd was very knowledgeable and takes safety very seriously. I highly recommend going to him for training. I have been around guns for ever and he definitely taught me a few things that I would have never known if I didn’t take the class definitely worth it.

I highly recommend Saddle Ridge Armory! A few friends and I signed up for the concealed carry permit course and basic handgun safety training. The instructor, John Shepherd went the extra mile to cover each session of the course in depth and made sure any and all questions were answered. Again I would highly recommend Saddle Ridge Armory!
