Outdated understaffed unorganized horrible experience here would not recommend you send your loved one here. My dad was in for a mild stroke, after 3 weeks being there, had stroke symptoms for days and they didn’t catch it, got a call he was getting sent to the hospital and is fighting for his life now.

My wife and I will be at northpointe for three years, next month. I feel that I am a good position to evaluate this place. First of all, NO PLACE is perfect, but I trùly believe that is worth the 4 point rating it recently received. About this rating let me be clear and split it into two parts.Monday through Friday a 5 star rating and a 3 star rating on weekends when most of the regular staff is off. It has close connection with Kaiser so that if your condition warrants special attention, Kaiser will make sure you get it. Most nurses are great, lovable and totally devoted to your care,there are a few who do not meet that criteria, but they are few. My wife and I are in the same room, with her needing the most care. Her special, sanitary conditions are well taken care off, even during the night, and medications are right on time, like clock work.recreation wise the bingo and other games are offered every day, Diana music during lunch in our dining room couple of times a week, also musical groups entertain us. Some of us go on outings once a month, to our favorite restaurants. The only negative part, NO MORE visits to 99 cent store, they are out of business. I hope to enjoy many more years, hopefully in good health. Incidentally the kitchen is very good and adjusts to a patient special needs. Those negative reviews I have read are wrong, perhaps in the past but surely not now8

I love this place!!! Staff is really nice and caring. My grandma loves her nurses. They really take the time to care for my grandma and other residents. Other facilities they are in and out. One day one of the CNAS was just simply talking and watching tv with my grandma. Not forced because she wanted to. It doesn't take much to put a smile on their faces. North pointe keep doing what your doing.
Clean, professional, friendly, great bed side manner! I recommend this facility.

North Point has done a fantastic job caring for my father with Multiple Sclerosis. He has had some questionable experiences with other facilities prior to North Point and this skilled nursing facility has gone above and beyond in there efforts. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a quality facilty in Fresno.

My father was there 2 months. He went in for help being able to go up 5 steps and to be able to walk better from the hospital. He had P.T. once a day most days. The food was ok. We were told he could walk all around the facility and could go up and down stairs. When we picked him up once he was at the house he could not get up the stairs. Took up 45minets and had to call several people to help lift him in the house.. He came home with several severe bed wounds. Thanks to the home health after 3 months at home they are finally starting to heal.
The room was a very depressing green. He got very depressed. Had no phone in his room. His call button was left out of his reach most of the time. He was in his bed and very rarely was he ever in a chair.. There were some very nice people working but the majority wouldn't even smile or acknowledged when spoke to. He was admitted straight from the hospital...Be careful where you send your loved one.

My mom was sent there after having a bad stroke. I feel so blessed she went there. The place is very clean and the staff is the BEST. Walking down the hall all of the staff greeted me and made me feel welcome. Answered all my questions and was great with my mom. The best was the Social Worker there, Laura. She always made time for me, very helpful and I will always remember her for helping me thru these hard times. I recommend this place to anyone who needs a place for their loved one.

Had a close friend there about a month ago. I was amazed with the facility. Was kept clean and all the staff very friendly and professional. Would highly recommend sending your loved ones there.
