Who do some of these case workers think they are? Mine needs to be fired!! She replied to an email I sent asking about my voucher stating that when I email her to state my name, date of birth, and use proper grammar and complete sentences. First of all, this isn’t school. Second of all, if you had read my email, that information was given. And now she won’t reply at all or answer the phone. Rude and unprofessional folks.

This place has gone majorly downhill in the last year. I came up here last week after MONTHS of unanswered emails and calls. Was told issues involving my case would be taken care of within 48 hours and they weren't. Came back exactly a week later with same issues and again "48 hours". Caseworker and/or supervisor won't even talk to me directly. All relayed through the front receptionist via phone.

If I took this long with DHAs requests, I would be in violation and subject to loosing my voucher. Seem like total hypocrites up here.

Give me your job and I would at least contact people back. This is ridiculous. Next week if still no success, I'm highly considering going to Legal Aid to see if I can get their assistance to avoid eviction court room.

I came in there soon as they were about to close and the Hispanic lady in the front was super sweet. She took the time to see what my issue was and actually helped. Sometimes you get more bees with honey.

I HATE this housing authority. Rude is an understatement. I relocated years ago from Rhode Island. I would give Rhode Island a 10-star if I could and the workers from DHA need to be fired. You walk in and you never receive a friendly greeting, yet southern hospitality is supposed to be a thing, yeah ok. Long wait times every single time, but you better not be late turning in paperwork or they will expeditiously send you a letter threatening to terminate you "as if" they are the owners of the program. Sylvia Williams and Lakesha Graham were good workers for me. Responded to emails and returned calls in a timely manner and never came off "as if" I were bothering them. My worker now, I can't say the same. She is always rushing me and never shows empathy. She got upset one time because I sent a general email letting them know that I wasn't getting a response from my worker and needed to talk to someone. She called me back acting as if she did reach out and I made sure to correct her. DO YOUR JOB if you don't want to be called out. I follow the rules and if I take my housing seriously then so should they. You would think she would be appreciative of a client that follows the rules. We have ANNUAL recerts and she keeps sending me my recert two months in advance. I will be going up there to discuss this because if I don't submit it on time, I get terminated yet it has not been a year yet. I plan on filing a complaint with all the agencies I can about them NOT following the rules and how rude they are and unhelpful when help is needed. I am over these workers acting "as if" they are the ones providing this service personally. I encourage those of you who are having bad experiences to file complaints. If the right people don't know this will continue.

I have to downsize and my voucher expired on 2/18/24 and I sent the request in January through Bob which sucks by the way. Still no response at all, now here I am in April and its time to for recertification done. Now mind you I found a place but have been waiting for a voucher extension since the beginning of February. I have tried to contact Ms. Lashawn Curtis "Supervisor of the relocation dept". I have left 3 mssgs on separate occasions to no avail. My own caseworker has been responding to every question and concern through email, Ms. Katrina Jones can only do so much. This has been a nightmare, this program has failed us, they DO NOT HAVE YOUR BEST INTEREST AT HEART!?

For over 3 years no contact, no call. Had to re apply twice , no letter no nothing. How is this supposed to be a service to help the community and no one responds to the community.
