We recently stayed at the Adolphus and had no idea they had a spa until I happened to share an elevator ride with the manager, Manny. He enthusiastically recommended the spa, suggesting we at least stop by to take a look. His approach was warm and inviting, not at all pushy, which intrigued us. Later that day, my husband and I decided to check it out and ended up booking reservations. I have to say, it was the best massage I've ever experienced. The service was exceptional, and while the amenities were somewhat limited, the quality of the massage more than made up for it. We will definitely be returning soon!

Terrible experience. Had three treatments. The first one, the massage, was nice. But it went down hill from there. They booked my pedicure in the middle (strange in my experience but ok) and the tech forgot to come get me out of the relaxation room. I finally went to the front desk after about 20 minutes and she took me back. The tech ended up giving me a rushed, horrible pedicure with no massage or anything. Really it was just a polish change. Her phone rang the whole time which was not relaxing or appropriate for a high end spa. I had to do gel polish since I was about to get in a bed for my facial for which they charged me an additional $50. In the end the nail tech was so late that my facial was cut short by like 20 minutes. I still got charged full price for both treatments, nearly $700, and they made me tip the nail tech 20% even though it was a genuinely bad experience that about ruined my facial too. Twice they told me they would discount my bill, but it never happened. Showed up on my credit card at full price including the above mentioned gratuity.

My experience at the Spa was wonderful. From the moment we stepped off the elevators we could smell the relaxation of calm immediately. Amy, the Spa Director was so wonderful and made us feel like we were the only priority she had for the day. Took great care of us and our couples massage with Pam, Travis and our couples facial with Melissa and Tori was amazing. I cannot wait to go back.

Incredible spa! It smells like Heaven when you walk in. My masseuse (Tori) made me feel so comfortable and relaxed. She explained what the massage would entail and gave me great instructions on self care after the spa was completed. I am convinced that I need to add monthly spas to my self care list. I’ve never felt so relaxed and rejuvenated!

Went to the SPA for a me day. It was amazing, working out 24/7 the deep tissue was the way a go. The workers were amazing soon as you walk in greeted by Manny and his boss AMY comes out and makes it even welcoming. I will recommend it and be back soon.

As a avid spa goer I was definitely disappointed in the Adolphus Spa. Check in was a little awkward. Receptionist said she would bring my spa shoes and leave them outside the changing room. It would make more sense to have them when I disrobed. So this process left me taking a show without shoes. Not very sanitary. Especially since the shower was not clean. My spa shoes were left outside the door, I tripped on them as I stepped out. Brown shoes on a brown floor. ?

The towels were is really bad shape. Literally looked like cleaning rags. They were faded with holes in them. *pictures attached.

The spa was really lacking in the little touches that make it feel like a spa. Changing rooms, bathroom was very sterile and cold. No decor, art, flowers, plants. It definitely felt like being in a cheep hotel room and not a spa.

Let's talk about amenities in the spa lounge. Your choice was water or hot tea. No snacks or fruit. Every Luxury spa in Dallas offers a complimentary glass of champagne or mimosa. Then there was a female guest that was completely nude in the coed relaxation lounge. This was bizarre to say the least.

The only good thing about my Adolphus Spa experience was my therapist Travis. He was professional and made me feel relaxed.

If you are looking for a Spa Experience I wouldn't recommend the Adolphus. Paying $300+ for a massage with no spa experience was not worth it. For what I got, I could have gone to massage envy.

I hate to leave a bad review but their tactics are verging on, if not, fully predatory. A little under 2 hours and $1,200 later, we were LESS than impressed. I got a 50 minute massage and a 50 minute facial, my husband got a 100 minute massage. We were in the same room together during our services.

50 minute massage was more like 35 since the therapist was walking across the room, at multiple times, during the massage to get more product. Same with the facial. The aesthetician was decent, the massage therapist was very mediocre, at best. I have never had a massage therapist or an aesthetician leave me sitting while they go get product or find tools elsewhere in the room. This always within arms reach on a cart.

Spa days are a luxury and I expect to pay a premium, especially at a luxury hotel, but I don’t expect to feel taken advantage of.

I purchased the lovers package which included a facial and massage for 2. Both of the services were great, the staff asked questions prior to tailor each to our individual need. However I would not recommend a mani or pedi. I treated my sister and waited by the pool while she got hers done. She told me the massage included with each lasted about a minute. And the lady asked her numerous times if she was sure she didn’t want clear polish on her fingers. After seeing the results I think she may have been better off going that route. It was regular polish, and many of her fingers and toes had parts that weren’t even painted. For $125 plus 20% gratuity added on, I had much higher expectations.
